My trip Home
Okay. This was the worst time ever going home. This is what happened. Our first flight went out good and smooth. Then when we got to Charlotte NC, our next flight was delayed. We waited about and hour and the that flight to Jacksonville, NC was CANCLED. Then, pissed off, me and my mother, who we both got about 2 hours of sleep btw, had to stand in a line for about an hour to get a new flight. However, the only flight out today was to New Bern, NC. So we were forced to take that option because the airline, US Air, would not pay for a hotel because they were cancled due to "weather". Then we walked all the way back to the other side of the airport and sat there for about a half an hour and then we heard over the announcements our flight to New Bern was CANCLED. So here we are again, standing in that long line. Then we had to go to Greenville. So we flew into greenville, and when we got there our neighbor had to come from about 2 hours away and pick us up to take us to the Jacksonville airport because thats where my moms car was. Did I mention that our bag did not make it with us to New Bern? Yeah. So then as we went to Jacksonville, surprisingly our bag was there. Then I just got home about an hour and a half ago. But it was all okay because this is what else happened. There was this really, I mean REALLY hot guy that was in the same situation we were. I got to look at that eye candy for a few hours. Lol. On the airplane he sat two seats ahead of me but across. So every now and again I would stare. He turned around one time and saw I was staring at him and he just smiled and nodded his head. My heart was beeting really fast. Also, the flight attendent was so gorgeous. You can only think about the fantasies I was dreaming up on that airplane! All in all, it sucked. I didn't get to hang out with GB like I wanted to but maybe we will tomorrow.

I have no need to travel by air thank God. I think the bad winter weather the last few weeks in North America has really messed up the airlines so you need to blame Mother Nature not the airlines cos they have your safety in mind. And BV; have you considered this sweet guy for a life partner lol? bfn - Wayne :) (yeah, I think hot guys know they are hot!)
ReplyDeleteAh, the joys of flying. I hate it. When I flew to England a few years ago, the first flight was late and it cost me whole day extra to get there. I'm glad you made it home, and with your luggage! That means they flew your original plane to the destination with the baggage on it, but no people.
ReplyDeleteI had zero eye candy for the entire flight, both ways! Lucky you! And thank your neighbor for making that trip! Nice to get home at last.
