Hello everyone! i am so proud of myself. I did alot of extra credit for Biology class, and now I will pass this 6 weeks with a 71 instead of failing with a 66. In NC our grading scale is messed up. an A is 93 to 100, B is 92 to 86, C is 86 to 77 and a D is 76 to 70, anything below that is an F. I might have a D for this six weeks, but my overall grade will be a C. I had to do 25 summaries on Biology articles and that would give me a whole 5 extra points on my final 6 weeks grade, and I did it this time and the time before too. It really has helped me to pass Biology majorly. I am so thankful for Mr.S to have those for us, because without them I would be screwed. Thank you Mr.S. I did all of them in 2 hours. Those could have been 2 more hours of sleep, but I will still get alright sleep, granted I havn't been sleeping that well. 3 hours the other night and 4 last night and I will get about 5 tonight. But tomorrow night I will catch up on my sleep and then it won't be so bad. I will study hard for my Bio exam this week and I want to pass with at least a 93, an A. If I don't I will be mad at myself for letting myself down. It will be my fault and it is my responsibility to study and do good, if not for myself for my mom. I need to show her I am trying and I want to get good grades. I hope she will see how much I study these next few days. Well, thats all for now. Love Always

Thank you for all the comments! I really do appreciate them. I read every one of them and I Love them. I would like to make a couple of rules though...
1. I do not like these two words so please don't use them: Jesus Christ or God Damn it. I would appreciate it.
2. Please do not post my picture or anyone else's picture on my blog ANYWHERE with out my permission first.
3. Please no major negative comments. I can deal with criticizes but nothing that will hurt my feelings.

Boy, that is a tough grading system! Well done for turning it around. Making sure you continue to get good results certainly is the best way to win your mother's confidence.
ReplyDeleteYou have the right idea Andrew; hit the books and forget everything else until exams are done, it's called priorities. Remember it does take some repetition to keep knowledge in our heads and revision is important. Hey it is boring wintertime anyway so a good time to work on exams. bfn - Wayne :)

ReplyDeleteYour grading scale is actually pretty normal, that's what it is in my region in VA, too, so don't think they're being too hard on you. They just want an A to be an A.
You should be proud of yourself. And I hope your mom is, too, for you showing her that you can do it. Keep up the good work, buddy!
